Public Review Draft 2.0 Now Available!

We’re excited to announce the release of Public Review Draft 2.0 of the Bath Land Use Code, along with the Draft Zoning Map for public review. This updated draft reflects revisions needed to address recent state legislation, as well as comments received on the first public draft released in July 2025.

We’re publishing two versions of the updated draft: a clean version of the code and a markup version showing changes made since the first public review draft. We’re also releasing an updated executive summary and documentation of public comments received on the first draft, and how they were proposed to be addressed, to help guide your review. All these materials are available on the Presentations and Reports page of the project website.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to review and comment on the first public draft. All comments were carefully reviewed and considered, and we encourage those who submitted feedback to revisit the draft, including the markup and the public comment process documentation.

The public comment period for Public Review Draft 2.0 and the Draft Zoning Map opens today (April 21) and will remain open through May 12. We encourage everyone to review the updated materials and share your feedback with the project team. Give us your feedback
