Public Review Draft Now Available!

We are pleased to share that the Public Review Draft of the City of Bath Land Use Code is now available for public review. This is a major milestone in our work to implement Bath’s 2023 Comprehensive Plan and advance the community’s vision for a welcoming, sustainable, and thriving future.

The public comment period opens July 1 and will remain open for three months. During this time, we invite you and all community members to review the materials, attend upcoming engagement opportunities, and share your feedback.

The proposed Zoning Code update is a key step toward achieving the Four Big Ideas outlined in the Comprehensive Plan:

As the update process moves forward, the planning team will hold public open houses sometime in early September. Upcoming events will be posted to the Bath Zoning Update Webpage.

Additional materials are also available, including an Executive Summary of the Draft Code and Frequently Asked Questions on the website.  We encourage you to explore these materials to learn more!
